Flexy: Foundations and Progressions

This is an 8-week intensive flexibility series that will meet you wherever you are, from absolute beginner to advanced practitioner, and will help you build an even more solid foundation of your flexibility technique so you can progress to the next level. Classes are 90-minutes in length and meet live and are recorded so that you can enjoy the replay for the full session of the series. Live classes meet at 5:45pm until 7:15pm from May 15th to July 3rd.

This is an all-levels strength-based flexibility series. A full-body workout combining traditional circus and contortion training techniques with joint stability and muscular balancing exercises derived from classic fitness, yoga, Pilates, and rehabilitative exercise.

Class will begin with a thorough warm-up and conditioning for strength before moving into flexibility drills for front splits, middle splits, back bends and a dash of arm balancing. My personal philosophy is that flexibility training can be done in a sustainable, safe way and that absolutely anyone can improve flexibility with good technique, patience and perseverance.

To prepare, supplement or just practice on-demand any ANYTIME, my online classes are always available on Datura Online! 🙂

Arm yourself with a couple of yoga blocks, a stretchy Thera-band, a booty band and foam roller if ya got ‘em, a chair or couch and just a bit of wall space.
